Obituary: Sister Charlotte Ann Esch, BVM | 1917-2015

Sister Charlotte Ann Esch of the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (BVM Sisters), who taught at two parish schools on Kauai in the 1950s and 1960s, died Nov. 30 at Marian Hall in Dubuque, Iowa. She was 98, and spent 80 years in religious life.

Obituary: Sister Noreen (Catherine) Cain, SND | 1925- 2015

Sister Noreen (Catherine) Cain, a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur for 63 years, who taught at Holy Family School in Honolulu for five years, died at Mercy Retirement and Care Center in Oakland on Dec. 14. She was 90.

Bishop, local Catholics making trip to Eucharistic Congress in Cebu

Oahu Filipino Catholic Clubs honor two longtime spiritual directors

The program included the installation of new council officers and committee chairpersons and presentations of the Father Ernest Claes Award and the Longest Member Service Award.

2,000-step march pledges funds for pregnancy center

Knights of Columbus golf tournament to raise money for ultrasound initiative
