Bishop Larry Silva and diocesan vicar general Father Gary Secor have been traveling around the diocese administering the sacrament of Confirmation. Through the sacrament, confirmandi at Island parishes are bestowed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Island priests gathered at Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore of Oahu for the diocese’s annual “Priests’ Convocation,” May 9-13. The weeklong convocation provided local clergy with time for rest, fellowship, workshops and personal enrichment.
