Parishioners of Holy Rosary Church in Pahala on the Big Island pose with their pastor Father Martin Mwanshibula July 19 after a Mass of thanksgiving celebrating the parish’s 130th anniversary. The Mass was followed by a big come together meal with music. The first church was consecrated on July 19, 1885. A happy anniversary to this beautiful little church of Ka‘u.
