Announcements/Appointments
- Very Reverend Louis M. Minh Nhien, C.M.C., Provincial of the Congregation of the Mother Coredemptrix – U.S. Assumption Province, has proposed Reverend Dominic M. Hoan Nguyen, C.M.C. as Chaplain of the Vietnamese Catholic Community, effective March 1, 2015. Bishop Silva has confirmed this appointment.
- Very Reverend Rosanno Soriano, M.S., Provincial of the Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette – Ina Ng Pag-asa Province, Philippines, has proposed Reverend Arlan Intal, M.S. as Pastor of St. Anthony Parish, Kalihi, effective April 5, 2015. Bishop Silva has confirmed this appointment. (He will replace Reverend Manuel Dela Cruz, M.S., who will become the La Salette Director of Novices.)
- Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend Paul Li as Pastor of St. Theresa Parish, Mountain View, effective July 1, 2015.
- Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend Peter Miti as Pastor of St. John Vianney Parish, Kailua, effective July 1, 2015.
- Bishop Silva has reappointed Dr. Alfred Arensdorf, Marianita Lopez, Dr. Craig Robinson, and Reverend Jack Ryan as members of the Diocesan Review Board for five-year terms ending December 31, 2019. Bishop Silva has also appointed Dr. June Ching and Tyra Lamb as members of the Diocesan Review Board for five-year terms ending February 20, 2019.
- The diocesan offices will be closed Thursday, March 26, 2015 in observance of Prince Kuhio Day.
