The diocesan prison ministry hosted its annual “Star Light, Star Bright” Christmas party for inmates and their families at the Women’s Community Correctional Center in Kailua, Dec. 13. The event has been providing for more than a decade a chance for women inmates to reconnect with their loved ones. Community members and volunteers donated food, presents and games for the day-long party. Neighbor Island families were able to attend with help from the diocesan prison ministry.
