- Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend German Somera as Administrator of Immaculate Conception Parish, Lihue, effective July 1, 2014.
- Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend William Shannon as the Director of Seminarians of the Diocese of Honolulu, effective July 1, 2014.
- Bishop Silva has appointed Deacon Jim Dougherty, Ph.D., a deacon of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, who now lives on the island of Hawaii, to diaconal ministry at St. Theresa Parish, Mountain View, effective July 1, 2014.
- Bishop Larry Silva announces that Father Arnold Ortiz, formerly a member of the Oblates of St. Joseph, was incardinated as a priest of the Diocese of Honolulu on June 12, 2014. His status changed from Administrator to Pastor of St. Elizabeth Church, Aiea, effective July 1, 2014.
