Composer Francesca LaRosa
Internationally recognized Catholic composer Francesca LaRosa will be featured at an evening of Psalms with Eucharistic adoration on April 2 at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Kailua-Kona, and April 3 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Papaikou. Both events start at 7 p.m. and are free.
LaRosa’s music is played in churches all over the world. She is most well-known for setting to music the Psalms and other prayers. She has a degree in music education from Ball State University and served as a music director for 3-1/2 years in Indianapolis, Indiana.
LaRosa now works as a full-time composer with her husband and music producer, David, creating resources for cantors and musicians.
