Women seeking to gain a deeper awareness of God’s love are invited to register for a contemplative retreat hosted by Scrub Bucket Gospel Ministries, an independent ministry based in Kailua.
The three-day retreat, titled “Be Still My Soul,” will be presented by ministry co-founder Maxine Pollock and will take place April 26-28 at St. Anthony Retreat Center in Kalihi.
The $300 registration fee includes a private, air-conditioned room, bath facilities and meals. Liturgy will also be celebrated.
Scrub Bucket Gospel Ministries was founded by Pollock and Pat Tom in 2000.
According to its website, its purpose is to “nourish good, hungry souls into a deeper awareness of God’s great love,” welcoming participants from any denomination.
