In this time of the coronavirus, Hawaii’s Worldwide Marriage Encounter is inviting island couples to attend one of its enriching weekends virtually in a program it calls 3RE, for REstore, REkindle, REnew.
It is basically the traditional weekend split into seven sessions of two hours each.
Hawaii leaders are suggesting that couples attend one of two 3RE experiences in August hosted by California presenting teams and priests.
One set of sessions is offered on Saturdays, Aug. 1, 8, 15, 22, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Hawaii-time, and Wednesdays, Aug. 5, 12, 19, 4-6:30 p.m. Hawaii-time.
A second set of sessions are on Thursdays, Aug. 13, 20, 27 and Sept. 2, 4-6:30 p.m. Hawaii-time, and Sundays, Aug. 16, 23, 30 4-6:30 p.m. Hawaii-time.
For more information and to register go to wwme.org. The 3RE experiences are listed at Pacific Daylight Time. Hawaii couples are encouraged to register for the California experience since the time difference is not too difficult to manage. When you register you will be asked to select your state: choose California. For miles willing to travel, enter 1,000 (the maximum).
Hawaii Worldwide Marriage Encounter is hoping to offer is own virtual 3RE in September or October. In the meanwhile, Hawaii couples are encouraged to sign up for the California sessions.
