The Windward Oahu Knights of Columbus Council 6307 were selling Hoku BBQ Chicken tickets to raise money for the Pearson Place Pregnancy Resource Center the weekend of Oct. 12-13 and 19-20. On Oct. 12, “Jethro Sanders,” a.k.a. Knight of Columbus Lou Carnazzo, and a chicken (St. Anthony School, Kailua, student Jaron Gilmore) had their cluck-ets out for donations. Posing with them was Steven Su. Council 6307 is a joint council of St. John Vianney and St. Anthony parishes in Kailua. The chicken fundraiser is a longstanding annual event.
