Bishop Silva has granted Reverend Thomas Joseph, Administrator of St. Pius X Parish, Manoa, a three-month medical leave, effective November 1, 2019. (Please pray for Father Joseph’s speedy and complete recovery.)
Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend Rico Bernadez as Temporary Administrator of St. Pius X Parish, Manoa, effective November 1, 2019 through January 31, 2019.
Very Reverend Rosanno Soriano, M.S., Provincial Superior of the Missionaries of Our Lady of LaSalette in the Philippines, has appointed Reverend Anton Nyo, M.S. as Pastor of the Kula Catholic Community on the island of Maui, and Bishop Silva has confirmed the appointment, effective January 1, 2020.
Very Reverend Rosanno Soriano, M.S., Provincial Superior of the Missionaries of Our Lady of LaSalette in the Philippines, has appointed Reverend Adondee Arellano, M.S. as Parochial Vicar of St. Joseph Parish, Waipahu, and Bishop Silva has confirmed the appointment, effective January 1, 2020.
The diocesan offices will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2019 in observance of Veterans Day.
