Windward Oahu celebrates the return of the third annual St. Ann School Hoolaulea, 8 a.m.-2 p.m., April 6 on the school grounds in Kaneohe.
This fun-filled event will feature an assortment of keiki games and prizes at the school’s Early Learning Center. For the third year in a row, Xtreme Rides will provide excitement for all ages with the Keiki Train, Lil’ Swing for the younger kids and the Super Sonic for older teens.
The dunkin’ booth, face painting, tattoo art, carnival-style food and more than three dozen crafters will help round out this year’s event.
“The Hoolaulea is an opportunity to open up our campus and invite our surrounding community and others to enjoy a day of fun and community fellowship,” said Mandy Thronas Brown, St. Ann School principal.
Entertainment is the centerpiece for this event. The featured entertainment is the award-winning island group, Typical Hawaiians. Other performers include the returning dance troupe Kailua Dance Academy and an alumnus performance by Kupu Dalire Naauao as he performs some island favorites and songs from his recent solo release, “Waolani.”
All this and delicious malassadas!
