Hawaii’s Knights of Columbus in March installed a U.S. veterans memorial marker at the Hawaii State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Kaneohe. Msgr. Gary Secor blessed it April 8. The Knights installed a similar memorial last year at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl after Supreme Knight Gilbert K. Jose visited the place with Father Ramon Francisco and parishioners of Sacred Heart Church in Waianae and noticed it had no veteran memorial stone from the Knights of Columbus. The memorial was installed at Punchbowl last October and blessed by Bishop Larry Silva. (Photo courtesy of Gary K. Jose)
