- Bishop Silva has appointed Sister William Marie Eleniki, OSF as the Women Religious Representative to the Diocesan Pastoral Council for a three-year term, effective July 1, 2017.
- Bishop Silva has re-appointed Ellen Cleghorn as Chairperson of the Catholic Scouting Committee for a three-year term, effective July 1, 2017.
- Bishop Silva has appointed Rev. Scott Bush as Parochial Vicar of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish, Honolulu, effective July 1, 2017.
- Bishop Silva has appointed Rev. Raymund Ellorin as Pastor of St. George Parish, Waimanalo, effective July 1, 2017.
- Bishop Silva has re-appointed the following priests as Vicars Forane for a five-year term, effective July 1, 2017: Rev. Edmundo N. Barut Jr., Leeward Oahu Vicariate; Rev. Herman Gomes, SS.CC., Windward Oahu Vicariate; Rev. Lane Akiona, SS.CC., East Honolulu Vicariate; Rev. Gregorio Honorio, West Honolulu Vicariate; Rev. Konelio Faletoi, West Hawaii Vicariate; Rev. Paul Li, East Hawaii Vicariate; Rev. Anthony Rapozo, Kauai Vicariate; Rev. Msgr. Terrence Watanabe, Maui-Lanai Vicariate. Bishop Silva appointed Rev. William Kunisch as Vicar Forane of the Central Oahu-Molokai Vicariate. Vicars Forane are also members of the Presbyteral Council and of the Clergy Personnel Board.
- With the appointment of Rev. William Kunisch as Vicar Forane of Central Oahu-Molokai, his elected seat on the Presbyteral Council was vacated. According to the Statutes of the Presbyteral Council, the priest who received the next highest number of votes in the last election takes his place to fill out his term. Therefore, Rev. Mark Gantley will be an elected member of the Presbyteral Council from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018.
- Bishop Silva has appointed the following priests to a five-year term as a member of the College of Consultors of the Diocese of Honolulu, effective July 1, 2017: Rev. Lane Akiona, SS.CC.; Rev. Edmundo N. Barut Jr.; Rev. Konelio Faletoi; Rev. Mark Gantley; Rev. Herman Gomes, SS.CC.; Rev. Manuel Hewe; Rev. Gregorio Honorio; Rev. William Kunisch; Rev. Paul Li; Rev. Anthony Rapozo; Very Rev.
