Announcements/Appointments
- Bishop Silva announces that, in response to the parish’s request, St. Anthony Jr./Sr. High School in Wailuku, Maui, will now be owned and operated by St. Anthony Parish, Wailuku rather than by the Diocese of Honolulu; effective November 2, 2016. In addition, the St. Anthony Pre-Kindergarten Program, Elementary School, Middle School, and High School will now become one single pre-K through 12th grade school named St. Anthony School; effective November 2, 2016, though implementation of transition will be completed by June 30, 2017.
- Bishop Silva announces the assignment of Deacon Wallace Mitsui to diaconal ministry at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Wahiawa, effective December 1, 2016.
- Bishop Silva announces the assignment of Deacon Angken Xymoon (of the Diocese of the Caroline Islands) to diaconal ministry at Sts. Peter & Paul Church, Honolulu, effective November 4, 2016.
- The diocesan offices will be closed November 24-25, 2016 in observance of Thanksgiving Day.
