It’s called St. Joseph Feast — the annual weekend of country delights at St. Joseph Church in beautiful Makawao, Maui, April 29-May 1.
The event opens with a blessing ceremony at 5:30 p.m., Friday, April 29, and runs 6-10 p.m. It continues 10 a.m.-10 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, and ends 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, May 1.
The food offerings include authentic malassadas, Portuguese soup, waffle dogs, chow fun, nachos, BBQ teriyaki, burgers, mocha freeze and much more.
A valuable goods live auction at 7 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday will feature golfing, gift certificates to dinner, hotels, and other activities donated by businesses throughout the state.
The event’s traditional livestock auction is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday.
The feast will also feature great local entertainment, games, a Keiki Kastle, LLC Bouncers, crafters, a country store, plants, produce, flowers and a lot more to see and enjoy.
So mark your calendar and drive up to 1294 Makawao Avenue in charming, picturesque Makawao and enjoy the annual St. Joseph Feast.
Organizers are accepting donations, crafters and entertainment. Scrips are available for sale at the parish office.
