Special to the Herald
The feast day of Our Lady of the Rosary is Oct. 7, and Catholics around the globe celebrate October as the month of the holy rosary.
The faith community of St. Ann Church in Kaneohe would like to invite all to join its celebration of this joyous feast and worldwide devotion to Mary.
Led in prayer by parishioners, St. Ann will host a multi-language rosary Oct. 15 — devotional music begins at 6:30 p.m., and the rosary begins at 7 p.m.
The rosary will be prayed in 12 different languages: The Our Father will be recited in Aramaic (the language in which Jesus taught us to pray), then the Hail Mary will be spoken in Hawaiian, Spanish, Portuguese, Latin, Mandarin, Samoan, Tagalog, Tamil, Japanese, Tongan and English
Rosaries handcrafted by St. Ann Rosary Guild will be available.
