Bishop’s announcements and appointments
- Bishop Silva announces that the superior of the Missionaries of Faith has appointed Rev. Linus Satre, MF (aka Father Lee), as the parochial vicar of Maria Lanakila Church, Lahaina, and that, as apostolic administrator, Bishop Silva confirmed the appointment, effective Aug. 1, 2026.
- Bishop Silva has accepted the request of Deacon Keith Galang to change to retired status, effective July 31, 2026. Deacon Galang has served faithfully at St. Joseph Church, Waipahu, for many years. He still enjoys the full diaconal faculties of the Diocese of Honolulu in his retired status.
