Mary, Star of the Sea Church in Waialae-Kahala is home to a bereavement ministry that offers consolation and support to those who are mourning the loss of a loved one.
This “Healing Hearts” ministry provides participants an opportunity to explore mourning after the death of a loved one through Scripture, prayer, reflection and faith-sharing.
If you are coping with the loss of a loved one, we invite you to come to our summer sessions. They are open-entry and available to anyone who would like to attend one, two or all of them.
The six two-hour sessions will take place Saturdays from 1-3 p.m. in Mary, Star of the Sea’s second-floor Activity Center.
Summer session dates are July 11, 18 and 25, and Aug. 1, 8 and 15.
