Broken rosary? Sacred Heart Church offers free repairs

05/20/2026 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

Special to the Herald

A favorite rosary is more than beads and chain links. It carries prayers, memories, comfort and many moments of faith.

If the chain on a beloved rosary breaks, you don’t have to throw it away. Your chain-link rosary can be repaired for free at Sacred Heart Church in Honolulu.

Place your rosary in an envelope or bag labeled with your name and phone number, and drop it off at Sacred Heart Church, 1701 Wilder Ave., during regular business hours. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. (closed on state and federal holidays), and street parking is available.

You will be contacted when your rosary is repaired, and you can return to the parish office to pick it up.

Repairs are only available for chain-link rosaries. Call the office at (808) 973-2211 with any questions.
