Special to the Herald
The Maui-Lanai Vicariate’s annual Stewardship Day is set for March 7 at St. Theresa Church in Kihei. The theme this year is “One Body, Many Gifts: Stewards of God’s Church.”
Father William Kunisch, pastor of St. Theresa, will celebrate the opening Mass at 8 a.m., which will be followed by a morning of reflection, formation and fellowship.
The first featured speaker is Brandee Menino, CEO of Hope Services Hawaii, a nonprofit organization that works to “make homeless on Hawaii island rare, brief and nonrecurring.”
After a break, Father Konelio “Lio” Faletoi, pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Church in Kailua-Kona, will give the day’s second talk. Father Faletoi is also the stewardship director in the diocesan Office of Stewardship and Development.
A wrap-up and question-and-answer session will follow Father Faletoi’s talk. The day will conclude with lunch and table discussions.
