Mary, Star of the Sea Church in Waialae-Kahala has a bereavement ministry that offers consolation and support for those who are mourning the loss of a loved one. This “Healing Hearts” ministry provides participants an opportunity to explore mourning after the death of a loved one through Scripture, prayer, reflection and faith sharing.
If you are coping with the loss of a loved one, we invite you to one or all of our open-entry sessions. The six sessions will take place Saturdays from 1-3 p.m. in the church’s second-floor Activity Center. The first, Jan. 10, has passed; the remaining dates are Jan. 17, 24 and 31, and Feb. 7 and 14.
