Photo: Holy Trinity parishioners light the way for Jesus

12/17/2025 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

Parishioners of Holy Trinity Church in Kuliouou gathered Nov. 30, the first Sunday of Advent, and hung thousands of festive lights around the church and its campus.

Comments from neighbors and the community are very positive. They have said that with the additional traffic during this hectic season, seeing the church illuminated offers respite and a few minutes to reflect on the “reason for the season.”

If you are driving past Holy Trinity on Kalanianaole Highway, enjoy a moment of calm and consider his coming.

The lights are on daily from 6 p.m.-6 a.m. Happy Advent!
