Bishop’s announcements and appointments

  • The diocesan offices will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day.

Correction

In the Oct. 10, 2025, issue of the Hawaii Catholic Herald, the priest who blessed the new kupuna housing project at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Honokaa was incorrectly identified in a photo on Page 4.

Blessed Sacrament Father Victor Diolata, the new pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes, did the blessing — not Father Anselmo Bobier, the former pastor who is now assigned to St. Mary Church in Hana.

The Herald regrets the error.
