On Oct. 24, parishioners of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Kailua were joined by numerous clergy, family and friends who gathered for a glorious celebration of the Mass in thanksgiving for their pastor, Father Anthony “Tony” Pangan, in celebration of his 25th anniversary of priestly ordination.
After Mass, people gathered in the hall as one ohana with the common goal of honoring and celebrating the gift of our Catholic faith embodied in the church, and most especially in our clergy, namely Father Tony and his 25 years of devotion and service to the Eucharist. It was an evening to savor and cherish.
Thank you to every single person whose generous sharing of their gifts as stewards of God created an evening full of faith, fellowship and aloha.
