Bishop’s announcements and appointments

  • Bishop Silva has appointed Father Arnold Ortiz as temporary administrator of Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Honolulu, effective Aug. 18.
  • Bishop Silva has appointed Deacon Jerome Bettencourt to diaconal ministry at Sacred Heart Church, Pahoa, effective Aug. 18.
  • The diocesan offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1, in observance of Labor Day.
