Dec. 23, 5 a.m., Misa de Gallo, St. Michael Church, Waialua.

Dec. 24, 4:30 a.m., Misa de Gallo, St. Joseph Church, Waipahu; 11:30 p.m., Christmas midnight Mass, with ceremonies for the opening of the Jubilee Year of Hope, Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa, Honolulu.

Dec. 25, 10 a.m., Christmas Day Mass, Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Peace, downtown Honolulu.

Jan. 2, 10 a.m., Presbyteral Council (virtual); 1 p.m., Clergy Personnel Board (virtual); 2 p.m., College of Consultors (virtual).

Bishop Silva has appointed the following to the Diocesan Liturgical Commission effective immediately:

  • Brandon Akiona (term ending May 31, 2027)
  • Deacon Andres “Bambi” Emayo (term ending May 31, 2026)
  • Marjorie Fukumoto (term ending May 31, 2026)
  • Ross Keoni Moodie (term ending May 31, 2026)
  • Sister Ma. Lergie Tabasa, OP (term ending May 31, 2027)

The diocesan offices will be closed Dec. 24-25 in observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The diocesan offices will be closed on Dec. 31, 2024, and Jan. 1, 2025, in observance of the new year.
