Scrub Bucket Gospel Ministries welcomes all to Advent presentation

12/04/2024 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

Hawaii Catholic Herald

Scrub Bucket Gospel Ministries will host a presentation on Advent this month to offer participants a good start to the season.

The morning reflection, “Come Away For a While,” will take place Dec. 7 from 9-11 a.m. at the day chapel at St. Anthony Church in Kailua. It’s open to all, and free-will offerings will be accepted.

Scrub Bucket Gospel Ministries, a local organization founded in 2000 by Maxine Pollock and Pat Tom, is an independent ministry that strives to “nourish good, hungry souls.” It offers presentations and retreats — including contemplative retreats and those geared toward women — so that, according to its website, it can “help all know that his love is everlasting and that he is real.”
