Scrub Bucket Gospel Ministries to host contemplative retreat

Scrub Bucket Gospel Ministries, an independent local ministry that strives to “nourish good, hungry souls,” will host a contemplative retreat for women.

“Silence will be our guest” at the Oct. 25-27 retreat, which will be held at St. Anthony Retreat Center in Kalihi Valley. The retreat can accommodate 20 participants.

The price is $300, which includes a private, air-conditioned room and bath, as well as meals and brunch on Oct. 26-27. A liturgy will be celebrated.
