Special to the Herald

The feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is Oct. 7, and Catholics around the globe celebrate October as the month of the holy rosary. The faith community of St. Ann Church in Kaneohe would like to invite all to join a celebration of this joyous feast.

The annual multilingual rosary will take place on Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. There will be devotional music at 6:30 p.m.

Led in prayer by our own parishioners, we will honor this worldwide devotion to Our Blessed Lady by praying the rosary in 12 different languages. Including the Our Father in Aramaic (the language in which Jesus taught us to pray), we will hear and respond to the Hail Mary spoken in Hawaiian, Spanish, Portuguese, Latin, Mandarin, Samoan, Tagalog, French, Japanese, Hindi and English.

Rosaries handcrafted by St. Ann Rosary Guild will be available.
