Parishioners from St. John Apostle and Evangelist Church in Mililani donated 6,000 No. 2 pencils to Kipapa Elementary School this year. Jolin Barretto, left, Father Anthony Rapozo and Jolie Barretto helped pass out the pencils as well as goodie bags at Kipapa’s school supply distribution event on July 24. St. John parishioners also donated school supplies to Helping Hands Hawaii’s Ready to Learn program.
