Special to the Herald

A joyous occasion to be remembered indeed: Parishioners at St. Jude Church in Kapolei celebrated their outgoing pastor of nine years, Father Khanh Hoang, with a dinner before he began his sabbatical leave July 1. The occasion also marked his 30 years of ordination.

Father Hoang leaves behind a legacy of unity. Father Rheo Ofalsa, who had been pastor of Holy Family Church in Honolulu, will take his place.
