Mary, Star of the Sea Parish in Waialae-Kahala has reactivated its bereavement ministry offering consolation and support for those mourning the loss of a loved one. This “Healing Hearts” ministry provides participants an opportunity to explore mourning after the death of a loved one through Scripture, prayer, reflection and faith sharing.

If you are coping with the loss of a loved one, Star of the Sea invites you to its sessions. They are open entry and available to all, so you may choose to attend one, two or all of them.

There will be six consecutive two-hour sessions on Saturdays from 1-3 p.m. in the parish’s second-floor activity center. Dates are May 11, May 18, May 25, June 1, June 8 and June 15.
