He attended the University of Dayton and graduated in 1970. Father Bob finished his master’s in theology in 1972 and went on to study at the Boston College-Andover Newton Joint Doctoral Program in Theology. He was ordained a priest in November 1974.
His assignments included teaching in high school and university settings, chaplaincy for troubled children, theater work as an actor and director, and ministry in the Brazilian apostolate of the Archdiocese of Boston.
He is deeply devoted to our Blessed Mother and attributes his love of beauty, art, poetry and drama to her quiet and powerful influence. Her example of discipleship has been a guiding light throughout these 50 years of his faltering attempts at the most faithful imitation of Jesus Christ, Son of God and Son of Mary, for the salvation of the world.
Many thanks to all who have walked with him during these 50 years.
