Volunteers continue their work to make Sacred Hearts Mission in Kapalua a temporary home for Lahaina’s Sacred Hearts School that burned down on Aug. 8. Pictured are volunteer parents and Knights of Columbus installing flooring and assembling desks in space adjacent to the church on Oct. 16. Sacred Hearts principal Tonata Lolesio said she is grateful for EPIC Ministry and the Knights of Columbus for their faithful efforts in helping the students move forward. “They’ve just been amazing in the past week helping us to build platforms and set up tents and put in flooring. We still have a long way to go but we’re willing to work it out and continue to do the best that we can by the grace of God.” (Photo courtesy of Dann Ebina)
