- Bishop Silva has endorsed the Missionary Families of Christ to minister in the Diocese of Honolulu, provided they have the written permission of the pastor of any parish in which they propose to minister.
- Bishop Silva has appointed Deacon Savili Bartley to diaconal service at Holy Family Church, Honolulu, effective September 1, 2023.
- Bishop Silva announces the retirement of Deacon William Farias (Immaculate Conception Church, Lihue), effective October 31, 2023. [Note that he continues to enjoy the full diaconal faculties of the Diocese of Honolulu.]
- Bishop Silva has appointed the following to the Diocesan Stewardship & Development Commission, effective July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2026:

- Alexandria Nicholl, Maui-Lanai Vicariate Representative (reappointment)
- An error was made in the Officials in the September 15 edition. Jerilyn Chang (West Honolulu Vicariate) and Pono Riddle (Central Oahu Vicariate) were mistakenly listed as appointees to the Diocesan Board of Education. Instead, they were appointed by Bishop Silva as vicariate representatives to the Diocesan Pastoral Council, effective July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2026.
