The 2023-2024 officers of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus of Oahu’s Bishop Louis Maigret Assembly 1577, Bishop James Sweeney Assembly 1826, St. Damien Assembly 3221 and Kamiano Assembly 3894 were installed by District Master Lito Alvarez, June 24, at St. Ann Church in Kaneohe.

The installation began with Mass celebrated by District Friar Father Boniface Sakala, who in his homily urged the new officers to be open to the promptings of the Holy Spirit and committed to their work of service to others.

After Mass, Father Sakala blessed the medals of office with holy water. Alvarez then led the officers in their oath of office after which each one was invested with his medal. Father Sakala closed the ceremony with a prayer.
