According to “Holy Moments” a book by Matthew Kelly of Dynamic Catholic, our society needs change and “holy moments” are a way to get us to a more holy place. A holy moment is a grace-filled, prayer-directed action that allows us to collaborate with God to change how we respond to any given situation.
Holy moments are simple yet powerful actions. Being patient or encouraging, controlling your temper, opening the door for a stranger, complimenting someone, thanking someone, or going out of your way to do a good deed.
The book is an easy read, but its potential is great. To start your parish on the road to holy moments and give each parishioner a book, call Carolyn Alameida at 808-781-1841.
