Eight women completed the Militia Immaculata (M.I.) Act of Consecration to Mary at St. Ann Church, Kaneohe, on May 13, the feast of Our Lady of Fatima.
The group met twice a week for four and a half weeks to complete a series of classes for the M.I. preparation. Each study night was comprised of Scripture readings, a discussion on St. Maximilian Kolbe’s writings on Our Lady, journaling and praying the rosary.
The women were presented with a “total consecration to Mary” bracelet as a symbol of their commitment to the Blessed Mother and to Jesus. They have also been officially enrolled as members in the M.I. family at the National Center in Peoria, Illinois.
Congratulations to Taryn Almeida, Tanya Downer, Nohea Colton, Sylvia Makainai, Regina Pagaduan, MaryRose Timmons, Elena Tusitala and Jodi Young.
