State Deputy Ryan K. Brown of the Hawaii State Council of the Knights of Columbus recently presented awards to brother knights and the chairwoman of the Lady Knights for their exemplary service to the Hawaii State Council during the 2021-2022 fraternal year. The awardees are Knight of the Year: Joseph D. Gage, Council 15594; State Officer of the Year: Angelito “Lito” Alvarez; Council of the Year: Kamiano Council 11743, St. Augustine; Lady of the Year: Mandy Thronas-Brown, Council 10190; Grand Knight of the Year: Alejandro G. Manansala, Council 17042; District Deputy of the Year: Paul D. Maple, District 4; Lifetime Achievement Award: (posthumously) Paul de Vos, Council 14620.
