Prized dinosaur collection for sale

12/21/2022 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

Josiah Riedel-McKeen displays dinosaurs from his personal collection for sale at the garage sale fundraiser for Malia Puka O Kalani Parish in Keaukaha on the Big Island. Josiah, 17, a student at Hilo High School, is the son of Robyn Riedel, parish pastoral council chairperson, and Greer “Baba” McKeen, parish stewardship committee chairperson. He has been a dinosaur collector since age 3. The event was held in the parish hall, which was built in 1934 by community members under the care and direction of the Sacred Hearts Fathers. The parish is situated on Hawaiian Homes Land. The money raised will benefit the parish. (Photo courtesy of Gwen DeCoito)
