Wall of Gallup, N.M. process into the June 23 opening Mass of the “Alive in Christ: Young, Diverse, Prophetic Voices Journeying Together” national multicultural gathering in Chicago. The culturally diverse groups represented there were: Asian and Pacific Islander, Black and African American, European American, Hispanic and Latino, Native American and Alaska Natives, as well as migrants, refugees and travelers. The June 23-26 event was hosted by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and led by the bishops’ Committee on Cultural Diversity in the Church and several USCCB secretariats.
