In keeping with the Diocese of Honolulu’s outreach to incarcerated sisters, brothers and youth, Damien Memorial School students in Gaston Gosselin’s religion classes wrote messages of hope and joy in specially designed Easter cards. Students added stickers to their personal messages. The cards were distributed to the Women’s Community Correctional Center, the Federal Detention Center and other institutions. This project was organized by Marianist Brother Dennis Schmitz and the Oahu Going Home Consortium. (Photo courtesy of Michelle Tuzon)
