Announcements/Appointments
- Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend Constantino Atinaja as Spiritual Director of the Hawaii Conference of Filipino Catholic Clubs (on Hawaii Island), effective March 3, 2022. (He continues as Administrator of Malia Puka O Kalani Church, Hilo.)
- Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend James McDonough, SS.CC. as Chaplain of the Japanese Catholic Community, effective March 3, 2022. (Father McDonough is a retired priest of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, who now resides at St. Patrick Monastery, Kaimuki.)
- Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend William Tulua as Pastor of Sacred Heart Church, Naalehu, and Holy Rosary Church, Pahala, effective April 1, 2022. (Replacing Reverend Marlon Belmonte, who is returning to the Philippines.)
- Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend Roel Delos Reyes as Administrator of St. Mary Church, Hana, effective July 1, 2022.
- Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend Anastacio (Jun) Postrano as Pastor of St. Ann Church, Waihee, effective July 1, 2022. (He will replace Reverend Oliver Ortega, who will be returning to the Philippines.)
- The diocesan offices will be closed Friday, March 25, 2022, in observance of Prince Kuhio Day.
