Filipino Dinner, Liturgy, Discussion Held at Center

A Mass for the spirit, exotic Filipino cuisine for the body and a fascinating filmstrip for the mind.

They all added up to a full evening of camaraderie as more than fifty Filipino East-West Center students and guests gathered at the University’s Newman Center, last Saturday evening.

Fish fry returns this Lent to Kailua parishes

On Feb. 24, the Knights of Columbus will be serving fish, fish nuggets for the kids, fries, coleslaw, applesauce, rolls and something called hushpuppies at St. Anthony Church … They will repeat the treat on March 23, 5-7:30 p.m., at St. John Vianney Parish.
