  • June 13, 10:00 am, Mass at St. Anthony Church, Wailuku (to celebrate the 175th Anniversary of the Parish; 138th anniversary of the Marianists in Maui and their farewell from Maui; 41st anniversary of the Dedication of the Church); 10:30 am, Mass with Confirmation & First Holy Communion, St. Anthony Parish, Kalihi.   • June 15, 9:30 am, Bishop’s Administrative Advisory Council (video conference).
  • June 16-18, Spring General Assembly of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (video conference).
  • June 22, 9:00 am, Diocesan Finance Council (video conference); 12:00 pm, Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Peace, downtown Honolulu.

Announcements/Appointments

  • Bishop Silva is pleased to announce that Reverend Sebastian Soosai, formerly a professed member of the Missionaries of Faith, was incardinated as a priest of the Diocese of Honolulu on May 24, 2021; and that his status is changed from Administrator to Pastor of St. Roch Church, Kahuku, also effective May 24, 2021.
  • Bishop Silva has assigned Reverend Marvin Samiano to residence at the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa as he continues his medical leave.
  • Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend Rico Bernadez as Interim Administrator of Sacred Hearts Church, Lanai City, effective July 1, 2021.
  • The diocesan offices will be closed on Friday, June 11, 2021 in observance of King Kamehameha Day.
