Family of religious scouting award recipients

03/31/2021 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

The annual Scout Mass and Awards Ceremony took place on March 6 at the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Peace. It recognized scouts who earned religious awards in both 2019 and 2020, covering two years because the pandemic canceled last year’s ceremony. This year’s gathering also recognized those who participated in the virtual St. Marianne Cope Day of Recollection this January. Pictured with Bishop Larry Silva are Sofia, Paul, Caroline, Gianna, Marianne, Charmaine and Francisco Garcia. Sofia, Paul and Gianna earned scouting religious emblems over the last two years.
