Two parishioners from St. Damien of Molokai Parish and Missions on Molokai received big gifts at Christmas Eve Mass, Dec. 24, from the pastor administrator Sacred Hearts Father Brian Vince Guerrini.

College students Maria Angst and Kayla DeRouin were each awarded a scholarship of $2,500 by the Dr. Anne H. Addington Fund Inc. of New Jersey to further their post-high school education.

Angst is attending the University of San Diego majoring in environmental and ocean science. DeRouin is attending Honolulu Community College and majoring in fashion design and merchandising.
