Bishop to celebrate White Mass for medical and healthcare professionals

09/30/2020 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

Physicians, surgeons, nurses, health care providers, their families and friends are invited to join Bishop Larry Silva on Friday, Oct. 16 at 6 p.m., at the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa, for the annual Mass for medical and healthcare professionals, also known as the White Mass.

The Mass coincides with the feast day of St. Luke, patron saint of physicians and surgeons, two days later on Oct. 18.

Today more than ever we are asked to pray and give thanks to our Lord for our dedicated medical and healthcare professionals who place their lives at risk every day during the coronavirus pandemic.

To attend the Mass you must register using the following link: www.signupgenius.com/go/904054DA5A62FA0F85-mass.

Livestreaming is available through the following link: www.facebook.com/hicocathedral.

For more information email Deacon Modesto Cordero at the Office of Worship, mcordero@rcchawaii.org.
