- Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend Paul Lee as the Chaplain of the Korean Catholic Community, effective January 18, 2020.
- Bishop Silva has accepted the retirement of Deacon Stephen Maglente from diaconal ministry, effective December 28, 2020. He currently serves at St. Anthony Parish, Wailuku. He retains full faculties to function as a deacon even after his retirement.
- Bishop Silva has accepted the retirement of Deacon Clarence DeCaires, Jr. from diaconal ministry, effective July 9, 2020. He currently serves at St. John Vianney Parish, Kailua and as Director of Permanent Deacons of the Diocese of Honolulu. He retains full faculties to function as a deacon even after his retirement.
- The diocesan offices will be closed Thursday, March 26, 2020, in observance of Prince Kuhio Day.
